Here’s how I did it: Right click on the windows start icon, Select control panel, Select ‘View Devices and Printers’ Right clicked on my HP laser printer, Select ‘Printer Properties’, Disable ‘Printer Status Notifications’ Clicked ‘Apply’ and reboot the computer. It’s not like no one uses Word and no one uses PDF. Thanks so much, I was having the same problem and this solution worked for me.

I kept troubleshooting many times in a row. I troubleshooted as an admin on word and troubleshooted to not be an admin when I opened word and finally the problem fixed. Something was wring with word and printing. I think it was the driver or being able to connect with the printer. This site in other languages x. It just stays stuck on one screen no matter what you do.
